Love them love them love them.
To me...good writers ( i will find it hard to define that good..considering i don't have a favourite genre.) seem surreal. After reading a good book...infact while reading it..when i come across a wonderful metaphor..a detailed imagery...a beautiful play of words...outrageously funny scenes...attention to detail ( you have to keep flicking back and forth to actually appreciate the artistry )...distinct characterization...fluid storyline...and the ability to make the reader share your vision, I just feel that the writers are so lucky to have this gift...the gift of storytelling.
The books, the stories..transport you to a different place. You laugh..you hide your crying. Its amazing how words can have the power to do that to you.
